PP – Flexible and chemically resistant polypropylene

Lightweight, semi-rigid material with excellent chemical resistance. Ideal for parts requiring durability and low moisture absorption.

Technical properties:

• Tensile strength: ~30–40 MPa

• Young's modulus: ~1.2–1.5 GPa

• Elongation at break: ~200–600%

• Density: 0.90–0.91 g/cm³ (one of the lightest)

• Heat Deflection Temperature (HDT): ~100 °C

Common applications:
Containers, automotive parts, flexible hinges, chemical packaging.
